Kate is inspired to read out the alphabets after watching Leapfrog's The Letter Factory infinite times. And nope, she does not know phonics. She knows those alphabets form the word 'armadillo' because mommy told her so.
is leapfrog good? i bought twice and sold twice. haha. now buying 3rd time again. crazy right? hahah. cause dash was not in favor of that dvds leh when he was young leh, but i am a phonics idiot. so eventually still resorted to buying back the dvds.

kate seems to like it alot... ask for it almost everynight. But I am not sure how much help will the subsequent dvds be (that teaches more phonics).
Kate is a tv addict, or if dash is not,this might not be the best way for him to learn.
