20090810 polliwogs@east coast

Kate was recovering from her running nose/cough/phlegm and so mommy decided to bring her to meet some mommy friends for some fun at the newly opened indoor playground at Polliwogs at East Coast.

It was drizzling that day and so the outdoor area was not opened. So disappointing :(

Kate on one of the bridges.

With Denise at the ball area. Denise is getting prettier! :)

Papa join in the fun.

Kate going down the slide into the ball area. She will get out of the area, look for the nearest 'staircase' up and shout 'ballball, ballball' and then slide down again. The slides are all very smooth which is fun, but dangerous too.

Trying to crawl through the net. There is another one which is big enough for walking through, and these 2 seems to be the most under utilised part of the playground :P

All the steps are made with rounded 'logs' like those children's gym material so that kids will not injure themselves if they fall.

Kate, Caelan and Meg. Cae had recently being promoted to gor-gor status. :)

Meg having alot of fun with the balls....

Meg and Kate carrying the little balls to put into the inverted funnel so that they will be drawn up the tubing and then shoot out from the top of the funnel.

Denise going down the slide to the balls area.
Regina and her paternal grandparents. She has active grandparents! :) Regina is very sweet and always dresses in style!
Regina and Kate. Don't know why Kate sticks out her tongue.

part of the tunnel which has 'punching bags' obstacles.

another obstacle. All made of soft, gym-like material

We left when the place gets more crowded with the arrival of more children (including older children who tend to push without thinking) and went for lunch with some of the mommies at the hawker before leaving for Bedok Jetty for some aeroplane viewing. Could only see one though.

On the way back to the car park. Kate is struggling as she wanted mommy to carry her, but mommy is too tired. Mommy woke up the next morning with sore hips from too much climbing up and down at the playground.
