20140604 South Australia Day 3 - Breakaway Farmstay, Victor Harbor, A Granite Island

Doesn't it look beautiful?

A beautiful rainbow after the rain

This is Morley

A beautifully crafted egg container to put the eggs.  Breakaway Farm provides sumptuous ingredients that can be used for breakfast

Quack quack. It is 9am.  It is feeding time again.  OK, ducks again

Me feeding the ducks

Me feeding the ducks with grains

Duck eggs

The mother is drinking brown water

Feeding time for the chickens.  Coo coo.  Coo doo.

Doesn't the rabbit look cuteeeee?

Hay for the lambs

What are they doing!?

Look at the lambs eating while the mother sheep looked on.

This is the cart for the hay.  Can you see a cow eating the hay?

Look at the long roll of hay.  When activated, the cart will unroll the hay as the car moves so that the hay will be deposited across a long distance so that the animals can eat it.

Oh dear! The cart stopped working.  So we had to take it down and unroll it with our feet so that the sheep could eat the hay (very hard to push for me).

Alpacas

Sheeps sheeps sheeps, all looking at us.

Look at the tractor.  Even its wheel is taller than me!

Rob helping me up the tractor.  We are going to get more hay for the next day.

We got some hay on the cart but first, before the next morning, we had to remove all the blue strings that was used to tie up the hay.  Each bale of hay weighs 400kg.

Yum yum

Motorbike!

There is so much wool in here, enough to make a scarf (mommy : this is the room that is used to shear the sheep)

Games room!

Morley loves Po Po

I don't like this horse ride.

One, two, three, four....so many eggs.

Oh no, the chickens are coming!

20140603 South Australia Day 2 - Adelaide City, Victor Harbor and Breakaway Farmstay

We are leaving this hotel today and the bus at the Adelaide Central Bus Station will bring us to Victor Harbor.

Do I look like I am a family with bags and nothing?

The bus has arrived.  We are putting our luggage into the luggage compartment.  When we are at our destination, we will take out our luggage from the luggage compartment.  After that, the owner of the farm, Rob, will bring us to his farm.

Mommy's note : Took Premier Stateliner from Adelaide Central Bus Station to Victor Harbor.  Breakaway Farmstay is about 10 min drive from Victor Harbor.

Quack quack!  It is 4pm and I am feeding the geese and ducks.  One of them is called Lucy.

I was throwing the grain at the chickens because they pecked my hand when there was nothing left.

OK, drop a lot of apples (only a few apples today)

It is our first time seeing a heater stove (aka fireplace).

Double decker bed!

20140602 South Australia Day 1

Yipee! We are at Changi Airport.  We have checked-in our luggage.

This is the first time we are taking Singapore Airlines.  :)

The plane behind me is the plane that will bring us to Australia

TV screen included!

The plane is in the air.  I slept because I looked at the TV too much.
Mommy's note : landed at Adelaide International Airport around 5pm+ in the evening and took a cab to our accommodation for the night - Franklin Central Apartment which is a self service apartment. The temperate was about 13 degree in the evening.

Kathleen's note : Mommy slept on one of the sofas while Po Po and I slept in the bedroom.
