Answer on who ordered the udon bowl : Catherine ordered it, but she took Lilien's order by mistake as the waitress told her it was crab, so Lilien had to take the big udon bowl instead!

20081005 Hay Dairies Farm

Papa is not busy with his work so the whole family makes a trip to Hay Dairies for some goat-seeing...

The goats going back to their barn after being milked. The goats here will have milk after they gave birth to their kid (yes! kid is the word!) and the supply will last for 6 months. The goats will gave birth until about 10 years old before they started having problem (the men said "like women" alamat!). The old old goat will be sold to hospital and labs for research (argh!) and is not served on the table (those are sheep).

Goat's milk are supposedly alkaline like human's milk while cow's milk are acidic... so goat's milk is more suitable for humans...

Another batch of goats... see how 'full' are their ...mmmm..breasts?
The dual pump... mommy wonders why goats' pump does not need support to hold the pump to the goats' (mmmm) breasts (?) while human breasts pump are so ley chey :P

20080930 children's day celebration

Kate celebrating children's day at her playgroup. The note given by the teacher said 'costume', but Kate was the only one that turned up wearing any costume while the rest of the children just wear normal clothes!


Evening time, mommy went to a florist to inject helium into the ballon she bought from a BP (bulk purchase). The ballon is for 姑姑 who had just given birth to Kate's cousin (表妹) on 29th Sept! And the ballon had Christopher Robin saying 'Shhh, its a baby!' to Winnie the Pooh, 姑姑's favorite character

20080914 SSO@racecourse...

Kate making a mess of the high chair table and she is not even self-feeding! She even use the spoon (with the porridge) to draw on the full length window next to her.

Papa and mommy and Kate go to Kranji Racecourse to watch the SSO performance for Mid Autumn's festival which falls on the same day. Kate with her 2 ballon sculpture (a yellow sword and a red poodle). (picture chopped as the pic contains a stranger reading newspaper). Kate is dressed very casually as she fell asleep just because she left the house so mommy did not change her clothes.

Kate also attended last year's SSO performance at racecourse.... see how different she looks then....
Who's this? Its Jingting watching the performance and happily munching on her biscuits! She is very nice and shares many pieces with Kate...

San yee yee (3rd aunt) tried to introduce the traditional paper lantern to kate... but all she wants to do is to crush it (like a cockroach).



Best to stick to baby-proof lanterns, like the powerpuff gal bought by nanny.....

Kate in her school uniform. It was her 2nd day in playgroup. She cried almost non stop for the whole first week. Second week was slightly better with food bribery from teacher and nanny... :P

Kate and papa go for a walk at night with the lanterns. The one that Kate is holding is the leftover from last year (the lantern ballon is already spoilt) while papa is holding this year's lantern which is already so abused by kate that the music is now only being played intermittenly.
